Some of you may have spotted our crew around Castle Loch in Lochmaben on Monday, 7th April 2025 between 6–8pm — no need for concern, it was just a scheduled training exercise.
Familiarising ourselves with new areas really helps us adapt and develop the skills we need to respond effectively in the event of a real incident.
A huge thank you to Castle Loch Lochmaben Community Trust for kindly allowing us to use the loch for our session.
All sanctuary areas were fully respected throughout the exercise.
