We are incredibly grateful to have received a generous £2,000 donation from Helen, who kindly chose to support Nith Inshore Rescue in memory of her two beloved dogs, Oban and Sharpe.
Helen’s touching tribute will go directly towards keeping our lifeboat operational and ensuring that our rescue equipment remains maintained and fit for purpose. Her support helps us continue saving lives on the Solway and inland waters, often in challenging and unpredictable conditions.
Helen has a remarkable background herself, having dedicated much of her time to training Guide Dogs. Her compassion and commitment to helping others shines through in this gift, and we are honoured to be chosen as the beneficiary of such a heartfelt gesture.
