Fast water training River Nith Dumfries

Crew have been exploring the Caul in Dumfries as part of regular fast water rescue training.

With a number of callouts to the centre of Dumfries, it is vital that our crew are familiar with this area of the river so we can respond as quickly as possible to an emergency situation.

🚨🚨 Callout during training 🚨🚨
During training in the river Nith we were taked by Belfast Coastguard to a report of 4 persons in the water near Southerness. Along with Kippford RNLi we searched the area and Kippford successfully found the 4 persons near to Sandyhills.
