We maintain a crew of around 15. In 2006, an average of just over ten (10.15) crew attended each call-out. Crew members are mainly local men and women with a good knowledge of the River Nith, its banks and tides. All are volunteers, fitting lifeboat training and call-outs around their day jobs. When not on the boat, our crew work as joiners, builders, civil servants, gamekeepers and local government officers, to name but a few. These are our crew: Wally Wright MBE (chairman), Ronnie Clark, Mike Clark, Robbie Cowan, Graeme Dalby, Alan Forlow, Chris Jackson, Paul McCulloch, Lew McKenzie, Donna-Marie Donald, Ian Simpson (Treasurer), Alan Steel, Richard Thomson (Secretary), Tommy Thomson and Stewart Wilson.
